Dani – Office Manager
Dani has worked side by side with Dr. Yoong since 2004! Starting as his back-office assistant and developed into the office manager. When she’s not answering phones, fighting with insurance companies and running the office, you can catch her at Dodger Stadium cheering on the Boy’s in Blue. Some extra tasks around the office include, I.T. support, office “mom” and the handy-woman. Dani spends her weekends adjusting to “mom life” as she has just welcomed her baby girl, Sawyer. Weekends also include being bossed around by her two black labs, Scully and Utley. Creating sweet treats in the kitchen has always been a hobby, as well as playing softball.
Chelsea – Registered Dental Hygienist
A Ventura County native, Chelsea began her dental career in Ojai over 25 years ago as a dental assistant. After earning her Dental Hygiene degree in 2002 she worked in Santa Barbara until she joined our team in 2015. She has worked with Pediatric, periodontal and general dentistry. Chelsea’s super hero ability is to provide quality care while keeping a smile on her patients. She is happily married to her high school sweetheart, has two children and three fur babies. In her spare time, she has volunteered for youth sports, the local dental hygiene society and various dental clinics. She is trying to make more time for traveling. She enjoys hiking, ziplining and off-road adventures (if her husband lets her). Her future goal is to own a lake house near great restaurants, since she is a self-described “terrible cook”.
Lauri – Registered Dental Hygienist
Lauri grew up in Ojai, Ca. She has followed in the footsteps of her younger sister Chelsea. Chelsea will forever have bragging rights over the phase “I TOLD YOU SO”. She often goes on all potato diets and hates ALL foods that are green. Lauri has two children, who have turned her hair grey! She graduated from Oxnard College Dental Hygiene in 2015. Lauri’s bio is short because Lauri’s life is “too boring”. Mwhahahaha! Her updated bio will be more exciting, as she has recently caught the TRAVEL BUG…. Up next, ITALY!!
Leti – Registered Dental Assistant
Leti is our Registered Dental Assistant, who has over 30 years of experience. She joined Dr. Yoong’s team in 2014. She’s enjoyed her time as an assistant and the relationships/friendships she has made. When Leti isn’t working, she enjoys her family time, keeping active and baking. Traveling with her husband and daughter is what she enjoys most. GO KINGS GO!
Sarah – Dental Assistant
Sarah is the newest member of our team. A recent graduate of Allied School of Dental Assisting. Sarah is such an asset to our team. She is quickly picking up and exceeding all her dental assisting duties. Sarah enjoys spending time with family and friends. She enjoys hiking and the great outdoors. Her son, River, fiancé Lorenzo and her farm of animals keep her very happy and busy.
Miranda – Front Desk
Miranda joined our team in April. She assists with reception duties and helps our office manager, Dani with day-to-day tasks. She is hoping to continue to grow in the dental field, with the goal of becoming a Dental Assistant. She thanks Dani for guiding her through it all. Miranda enjoys many hobbies including the gym, beach days, walking her two pups (Mocha & Chachi), spending time with her family, friends and her boyfriend Nickolas. She is very excited to welcome a new blessing to her family, very soon. BABY GIRL due December 2023.
